Product Description
The Panasonic PT-VMZ51EJ belongs to a completely different class than the REQ/REZ series we’ve been discussing. While those are heavy-duty 1-Chip DLP installation projectors, the VMZ51 is a 3-LCD laser projector designed for high portability and ease of use in classrooms, smaller boardrooms, and standard office environments.
Model Configuration: PT-VMZ51EJ
3-LCD Technology: Uses three liquid crystal panels for bright, natural color reproduction.
EJ (Regional Code): Specifically for the European, UK, and Oceania markets (220–240V).
Integrated Lens: Unlike the "L" models we looked at previously, this unit comes with a fixed 1.6x zoom lens already installed. You cannot swap lenses on this model.
Key Features
World's Smallest & Lightest: At only 7.0 kg (15.4 lbs), it is incredibly easy to carry between rooms or install on a standard ceiling mount.
5,200 Lumens of Brightness: Surprisingly powerful for its size, providing clear, visible images even with the lights on in a typical classroom or meeting room.
1.6x Zoom & Lens Shift: Offers great installation flexibility. You can adjust the image size and move it vertically or horizontally without moving the projector itself.
4K Signal Input: While its native resolution is WUXGA (1920 x 1200), it accepts 4K/60p input signals via HDMI, making it compatible with the latest laptops and streaming devices.
6-Point Screen Correction: Allows you to project into corners or onto curved surfaces with digital adjustment for each corner and the center of each side.
Digital Zoom Extender: If your throw distance is slightly too far for the optical zoom, you can use the Digital Zoom Extender to fit the image to your screen without moving the mount.
